Gamma 1.1.0 Release


Gamma 1.1.0 is now available to download. You can refer to the changelog for the latest update about ShellCore Command Beyond Our Worlds down below. Please be advised that this release may impact older versions of custom worlds.

Additions

  • Added disrupt.
  • Added ep 2 siren clip.
  • Added the original overworld, battlezone, and ep 1 main menu music.
  • Added new background particles: loops, octagons, and abstracts.
  • Added new background tiles: triangles and hexagons.
  • Added beam gleam onto beam related weapons.
  • Added azure corelings.
  • Added more damage options for the deal damage node.
  • Added broken jump gate.
  • Added the following nodes:
    • Spawn entity group node. It will allow you to spawn a group of entities of the same faction.
    • Warp entity node. It will allow you to warp an entity to anywhere in the current sector.
  • Added offset from center option to the set player spawn point node.
  • Added new options for the condition check node: player name, command limit, power, and episode.
  • Randomizer nodes can now use flow mode when the canvas editor is set to dialogue.
  • Set path nodes can now create patrols.
  • Set variable nodes can now switch between flow and dialogue modes.
  • The search item window now includes the item's json whenever applicable.
  • Tier 4 cores can now use tier 4 main bullet.

Bugfixes and Revisions

  • Adjusted the default settings when booting up the game for the first time.
  • Adjusted the jump gate, spawner, and broken spawner's resolution.
  • Adjusted the alpha for various ability buttons.
  • Balanced area disrupt:
    • Increased damage from 200 * tier -> 650 * tier.
    • Increased energy cost from 200 * tier -> 250 * tier.
  • Updated the rotate craft node:
    • Disabled asynchronous when using numerical angles is enabled.
    • Fixed the target requirements. You can now use flag names again.
  • Updated a few UI elements to look more like the original.
  • Converted all booleans (except for asynchronous) in the set path node into a popup list. 
  • Creating the mission condition node will now set the mission status to inactive by default.
  • Fixed inactive tasks not displaying in the status menu when there are no prerequisites.
  • Fixed some json assets that were missing in the world creator list.
  • Fixed missing miss particles for bomb projectiles.
  • Fixed an issue where area disrupt would affect entities that are actively absorbing.
  • Fixed area disrupt and slash not damaging entity's core once shell has depleted. To prevent balancing issues, the residue is reduced by half.
  • Fixed incorrect color for olive defected.
  • Fixed an issue where follow, force tractor, and rotate craft nodes would produce an error rather than a warning from entering a target that does not exist.
  • Fixed the input field for custom weight in the set path node. It should now use numeric values only.
  • Fixed a miscalculation when using the set command node in the set or increment modes. It should no longer result in a negative max cap depending on the inputted number.
  • Fixed an issue with the delete entity node. You should no longer be able to delete the player.
  • Fixed an issue where searching for an item does not affect your current dimension.
  • Fixed retreat. You should be able to use it if you have not recently entered a haven or you are currently in a haven and have not entered another haven. 
  • Fixed the canvas button alignment with its text.
  • Fixed an issue where players can open the status menu while interacting with an entity outside of cutscenes. This bugfix will prevent players from opening the status menu if another window is already active.
  • Moved the add reward node into the action node category. 
  • Moved the party member option for the condition check node into the player category.
  • Revised the node color for dialogue canvases.
  • Revised the connection port's sprite outlines in the canvas editor for better eligibility.
  • Revised the size of the settings panel.
  • Switched the ep 2 main menu music with the original ep 2 music. 

Removals/Reversions

  • Reverted the saved screen panel due to bugs related to saving/writing worlds. This will return once it is softlock and error free.
  • Removed beam's particles.
  • Removed ship builder's validity toggle for rdb server.
  • Removed some functionality of multiplayer.
  • Removed credit simplication. It will show the full amount now.
